Hello Gents!

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/10/imag0006bf.jpg/

I have the above rifle, as you can see my rings make my optic sit WAY high... That is a millet LRS 35mm tube 56mm objective, on a ferrel base. The optic came with high rings.... as you can see, to high for for me to rest my cheek... you you suggest getting lower rings, or a cheek riser? Also if new rings, what brand/height... will low rings be to low with the big objective lens?

I have the same identical gun, and yes your mounts do look pretty high. I am using and EGW Mount with Warne Maxima series low mounts on mine. Even with this set up I still put a pad on my cheek piece to align my eyes with the scope. I hope this helps out. I love my rifle, it shoots very well, a lot better than I can.

I have same rifle with a Marl 4 Leopold and 50 mm bell in medium height Mark 4 rings with a Ken Ferrel 20 moa bases. I still had to go with a Karstens cheek piece here is a link.http://karstenskydexcheekrest.com/ he has 3 different model's. I have model a and an eagle stock pack on that works great. Give Karsten a call nice guy and he will hook ya right up.

get different rings, Millett supplies their LRS scopes with extra high rings, put some medium rings from dark ops
