Model 11 Neck size

Have a newbie question for all......

On my savage model 11 .243, what is the factory neck diameter?
I have no idea where to find this info.

I doubt you will find this information. The only way to truly tell is to cast your chamber. The factory Savage neck is going to be much bigger than any loaded round, or brass, availble on the market. Just curious why would you want to know?

Plain old curiosity....I am constantly reading about 6ppc's with .262 necks and what have you, and just became curious.
