For some reason i cannot figure out how to get out the accutrigger assembly itself in order to make the adjustments. The manual I have and have online are no help. I will call the company back but was wondering if anyone else had same issue.

The lady at Savage even gave me the page number the last we talked and that page discusses is gun safety or something completly irrelevant.

The parts I have tried to disassemble are so tight I am afraid of stripping the screws. I gotta just be missing something and I want to avoid damaging the gun. I did take it to the gun shop and they couldn't get to the accutrigger assembly either?

Sorry if this has already been gone through but I did do a search.

You have to remove the action/barrel/trigger assy. If you are going to round out them out, try an easy out or send it back. If you easy out the screws you can always go to a fastenal or bolt store (believe it or not they are everywhere) and replace the screws with heavier duty ones (I use them because I german torque em). Thats all I can really say. Did you try removing the bolt and trying not to put it in a vice? Another idea is penetrant spray (may not be too good on a cheapo synthetic stock).
