Cant find compatible stock

I have a savage 111 30-06. this is a hunting rifle, not a bench rifle. I finally ordered a hogue stock, come to find out, my side release for the mag doesnt work with it, or most others from what i understand.

are there stocks out there that wont break the bank, but are better then the tuberware that came on it?

ive also heard about a conversion where i can make mine work with this style, but i cant find much info anywhere on it, or what parts i would need.

What is your price range? What type of material? How long are you willing to wait?

$150, synthetic (i really like the rubber overmold on the Hogue). would like it by middle of september.

See if your screw spacing is 5 1/8".
