I have a Boyds laminate I want to use with a long action DBM action, is there anyone that does the inletting work to make the blind mag stock work with the DBM?

I may give it a try myself, but looking it over I am not that comfortable that I won't F it up. I'm much more comfortable working with metal than wood!

Don't know of anyone that does custom inletting on other folks stocks as a standard "service offering". I would bet it will be expensive (and a long lead time) if you find someone.

Just get a sharp set of carving chisels, some good files, and a plan then go for it.

Might try Fred at SSS. Not sure which brand of stocks he'll inlet for the DBM but more'n likely he can do it. I did one by hand and turned out really nice but took a better part of two days to complete.

I can do it on a cnc mill, I have the program already. $50.00

I'll call this afternoon, the likelyhood of me screwing it up is way to high to risk for $50.
