Hi guys,
First post on SavageShooters - I've currently got a Savage Mark II FSS that I love, and am looking for something a little bigger to go hunting and longer range target practice. After deciding on a Weather Warrior FCSS, I went back and forth between 30-06 (116) and 7mm-08 (16). I'm leaning hard towards the 7mm-08 for deer hunting in PA and general target shooting.

After doing some research, and reading about the 1 in 11.5 rate of twist issue with some models, I visited SavageArms.com to confirm that the current models were still 1 in 9.5 (it is). But then I got slightly confused, there are TWO SKU numbers on the 16 FCSS section that list 7mm-08 but I can't tell any differences between the two SKUs:

Anyone know of any differences between the two SKUs? Any general feedback on the 16 FCSS in 7mm-08?

Regards,
Steve

Well you've found one of many mistakes in the Savage on line catalog. I'm guessing it's for the two different barrel twists. Just give them a call and get the info right from the horses mouth.
