it looks like the 19 NRA savage, but the only markings on left top side of barrel. ''RANGER 22 LONG RIFLE". under that is an upsidedown 7 in a circle. there are no further markings or numbers on the entire gun, even under the barrel. checkered metal butt plate. 26" bull barrel. competition rear peep sight. covered front sight. tapped for scope mount, but mounts on now were put on by me. It looks somewhat like a Winchester 52.
Large rear rubber peep sight is marked Merit no 2 light shield. There is also a smaller screw in apature peep sight. On the side of the sight elevator there is a deer jumping through a circle (or a scope lens). The trigger appears adjustable. It has a 5 round clip, but no lug on the bottom of clip. It is very heavy.
