I have a Savage 110 that I just got on GB and curious to see what factory ammo shoots best for you all? Tried the SuperX 150gr and it sure did not like those. The worst groups I ever shot.

Thanks

You are probably going to see much better groups with the 130 grain projectiles, I would start there. I have seen the factory Hornady stuff shoot very well also. If you are reloading, nosler 130 balistic tips or Hornady IB's OR IL's with either 58 grains of 4831(SC) or 47 grns of 4064.

I shot about 1 inch groups with remington 130 cor-lokts. My son could shot about .75 with the same rifle /ammo combo. However when I switched over to sierra 130 gamekings I found 46.5 grains of IMR 4064 worked the best in my rifle. Tightened the groups to .75 for myself and my sons groups to about .4. Thast more than good enough for a sporter barrel.

Thanks for the feedback guys. This is my first Savage. After hearing all the good things about Savage I gave in and got one on GB. Barrel is in very good condition. My intentions are to make it a switch barrrel rifle.

thanks again
