Hi-
This is my first post, so apologies if it is not in the right forum.

I plan on putting a scope on this rifle with a 40mm objective. Can anyone tell me what height rings would be needed? Many thanks!

Do you also plan on a one-piece scope rail? Personally, I use either EGW or DIP rails with Burris XTR or Weaver TS Low rings.

I will be using a one-piece mount, the DNZ product http://www.dnzproducts.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=66_38. Further investigation tells me that while I may get away with low rings, a medium is probably a safer bet for clearance that won't compromise my cheek weld.

I have a MKII BTVS. I used Warne rings and had to return them because they were too low. The Bump on the stock interfered with my ear muff. I just replaced my Warne rings with DNZ, but I may have to go with a high mount there as well due to the cheek weld and trying to get your eyeball level with the scope.
