Fred, When you do a T & T on a Savage action, do you use a hallmark stamp or mark them in any way?

No, I don't, but I've been giving it thought though. It would have to be unique to prevent counterfeiters.

In this day and age, I think it would be time and money well spent to register a hallmark to protect your work and name....

I can tell if if I've worked on it or not. After all, I do keep records.

I purchased a 6mm br that you built with your name and the date on the barrel..at least i hope that's what i bought

I'm sure you do, it is more for the public - that way your reputation isn't tarnished by knock offs sold to unsuspecting parties...(not that that would EVER happen in this country).
