OK. I keep getting the same? but different? facts I have been told: Remington 6br brass is the same as 6br Norma-you just seat longer for norma-same case dimensions (Midway)/Norma case is little longer to allow for longer seating/Base dimensions differ slightly-are the same/Lapua cases are larger and need different chambers/If you shoot by the light of the moon you will begin to glow in the dark (well maybe not that one). Can anyone clear up this utter confusion? (BTW my new 6br using lapua brass shoots just fine-there is that pesky green glow at night)

Remington 6 BR brass is NOT the same as 6BR Norma. 6BR Remington is 1.520" long. 6 BR Norma is 1.550". All the Savage rifles are chambered for the Norma. You can shoot Remington brass in the Norma chamber , but not vice -versa. Once you have shot Lapua brass, you'll figure out the Remington is sub par.

And the Lapua has the small flash hole while the Rem is standard sized. Go with the Lapua all the way.

Lapua and Norma 6BR brass are the same except Lapua still has the smaller flash hole. Remington 6BR brass is way down the list. ;)

Bruno's Shooter Supply is 76 cents each or $375/500. I got 500 from Lester 3 years ago for $260 I think. Boy times have changed.... Tim
