I have a question for you all. I have a Pre-e, pre Acu trigger M93R17. It looks as if the bolt handle is screwed onto the shaft. If it is, how can I remove it, and does anyone know the thread size, and where I can find a replacement that is "better looking"? Appreciate the info!

yes it does unscrew. I took mine off and straitened it and it looks WAY better. But if you want a custom knob you just have to spin your knob off and rethread it to match whatever knob you like.

I am putting this one on my custom MK2

Thats all I had to do on my Mk. ;D I used the Tactical-Single Knurl from Bills Bolt Knobs. http://www.boltknobsbybill.com/Styles.htm Let him know what it is threaded and it will come ready to screw on.

Thanks for the info! It was easy to unscrew, I removed the bolt from the rifle, wrapped surgical tubing around the knob & unscrewed it with vise grips. I have one on order from Midway, all the ones they carried were the same thread size, so hopefully the threads on a rimfire are the same as a centerfire rifle!

I hate to say this, but the rimfire threads were non-standard, 12-28 or something. You might try comparing the threads to an action screw.

That figures, I assumed since all the aftermarket bolt knobs had the same thread size it would include rimfires as well. Midway has the knob on backorder, so I will find out when it gets here. Sounds like a cottage industry that someone could step up to!
I looked on boltknobs by bill website, he has some cool stuff, but what are his prices? I didn't see any.
