6XC Redding dies not sizing ?

Just tried to use some "used" 6 XC dies that i bought off of the classified section about 2 months ago, and the neck sizer isn't sizing at all!!! New cases (norma) at neck dia measure .270, after firing, measure .274 i'm happy with that, but the "good condition" die set i bought used, doesnt even touch the neck walls!!! put some powder on the necks to check, come out un marked!!!! My numbers weird, or neck die screwed up? And does anybody know how Redding is on problems? Hate to believe that someone on this forum would knowingly sell junk.....rsbhunter

Do the dies use a neck bushing that might be missing?

Well there you go....now i REALLY feel stupid!!!!!!!! You hit it right on the head....man, ireally am embarressed right now..it even says on the die box"Type S. Bushing neck sizing die...... You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!!!! But i took the resizer button out, and i don't see what holds the bushing in? Plus, im guessing to use a .271 bushing? Thanks again, i really need to pay closer attention to reading the box....rsbhunter
