New Max 1 failure to fire?

I know this has probably been answered somewhere, I just can't find it. My new Max 1 .223 will only fire 1 in say 10 tries. The firing pin does not even touch the primer when it does not fire. Nothing has been altered on this one. The trigger has not been touched. I manually tripped the pin and it is sticking out the bolt face. I watched as someone else fired it and I can see the back of the pin move when the trigger is pulled???? I can't figure this one out?

I have had a couple new shot guns do this and it was because of the machining oil used in making it I just pulled it all apart and cleaned everything and put it back together and all was fixed. Also had a friend whos remington 700 would not fire, the firing pin would not move, I pulled the bolt apart and it looked like tar in side it. he would spray oil down thru the firing pin hole in the bolt face and after years the gunk built up and the pin stuck. Just something to think about.
