getting mag box back on

bought a action without the mag box attached, now putting everything back together and having a devil of a time getting mag box attached to action..... What gives? any tricks to doing this? The box is getting all twisted out of shape and causing me issues.

Put the barreled action propped up on a soft surface. Put the tab in the rear slot. Put a large screw driver in the bend of the front tab and hold at an angle. While applying pressure with one hand give the screw driver a sharp smack with the palm of your other hand. It should pop right in.
