So what's the right price? You're making them so it's up to you to set the price!! Can't be any worse than me buying 4 or 5 fluted bolt bodies at a time. ;D ;D
Only you know how much work you put into them. Just make sure you make enough of them. You know, supply and demand? Make them, set your price and see what happens. My guess is they'll sell pretty fast. Faster than you might think. :o
Just make them and don't tell Lisa till you've got a bunch ready to go. ;)

That's what I'm thinking too... ;)

I've got an action on the way there now. Wonder what my chances would be............... ;D

Looks like at least a couple dozen so far and that's just from us guys looking here.
Better get it in gear and knock some out. (before someone calls lisa and tells her what you're up to) Blackmail maybe? :-X ;)

That's why Lisa would choke me.... :o
I will give this some serious thought and see if it "doable".

Looks like you were the first to speak up so you should be on the top of the list. Only thing you will be "required" to do is tell the rest of us how they work and what you think of them. And you better hope they don't come out at $100.00 a pop! ;)

i just got done with my bolt release mod....and it couldnt have been easier. i cut the jaw off an old pair of pliers, and shaped it with a cut-off wheel and a file until i was satisfied. marked reference points on the action and bolt release, figured out where to cut, took the bolt release and trigger off and started cutting. then put the two pieces together and welded them after a little file work i was ready for some dura coat(which i have not done yet).

thanks! im very pleased with the outcome......and cant wait to see how it looks once everything is duracoated. i would suggest this mod to anyone whom has the means to perform it........pliers, welding or brazing setup, file vise and hacksaw or cutoff wheel.....it really improves the look of the rifle...in my opinion the pictures do it no justice.

Looks vary good. I hope this doesnt cause a "tactical" bolt release frenzy.

Wonder how it affect the lock time?

Not even worth doing the math.

But since you are curious, go ahead and get your stopwatch out and time it, then let us know. ;)

You're right. All I need to know is, if I pull the trigger it should go boom. Everything that happens between those two actions are irrelevant. ::)

The value of knowledge is rarely worth the price of finding out. Especially for the person paying.
