Good Morning,

I am in the market for a spotting scope. I am a fan of Leupold optics, so I've been looking at their spotting scopes also. I've narrowed down my choices to the Kenai and the Ventana. They both have the 25-60x80mm zoom lens. The Kenai also has a second 30mm lens included. Does anyoneone have any experience with these two scopes. My main question is the Kenai worth $400 more than the Ventana. I'm also open to any other spotters in the $500-$900 range that work for you. I will be using it for target work in the 100-300 yard range, and also scoring targets in F-Class at 600 yards.

The VAST majority of competition shooters use Kowa spotting scopes. Very good image.

I think Leupolds are made in Korea but the only one I looked through a few years ago wasn't much better than a Konus.
