I have a M10 accutrigger in 308 Win with a Choate Varmint stock that doesn't work well from the bench. Is it possible to buy an accustock that will fit this rifle? If not, wood?
Thanks;
joe b.

NO you can't purchase an Accustock separately I have already tried and they are not backwards compatible to the older actions anyway. :'(

There are plenty of wood stocks available check the vendors here on the site. ;D

lf that Choate Varmint 308 won't shoot off the bench you are not using
the right bags.Your rear bag should be flat in the center...

It looks like the Accustock will not be seperately available for the near future, thought the possibility does exist. In the meantime, I am looking for a replacement stock for my new 10Fcp that will accommodate the detachable magazine. Mine came with the Savage plastic stock and I have found no one, yet, who makes a stock that will accept this action.

Looks I like I wrote too soon. A call to Stockade Gun stocks is going to happen Monday!
