150 165 grain bullet in 30-06

With the 150's, I get good results with 51.2 grains of IMR 4064 but it's a hot load with my bullet seated to the max length to fit the magazine. I've been using it since the 70's.

With a 150 grainer 52 grains of 4064 or 58 grains of Ramshot Big Game. With a 165 grainer 58 grains of H4350 or 57 grains of IMR 4350 is the standard. I get 2900 fps with a 165 Nosler and H4350.

My 30-06 works the best with 56.5 H4350 with both 150gr and 168gr Nosler ballistic tip. I also have had good luck with Winchester 760 power with 150&165gr bullets.
